Synopsis

I am Bill Williams, owner of BGW FILM STUDIOS. I believe filmmaking is the ultimate tool for social change. My mission is to champion the independence and self-reliance of Indigenous people—Aboriginal, First Nations, Métis, and Inuit.
Beyond my work as a producer, I am a survivor of the residential school system and profound physical and developmental challenges. I’ve launched the Indigenous Success Stories Franchise and our own ROKU Channel to equip a new generation of filmmakers. I'm here to connect with collaborators who want to tell stories of endurance and triumph. Let’s make an impact! "...Today, I lead BGW FILM STUDIOS and the Indigenous Success Stories Franchise. One of our flagship initiatives is 'First Nation Talk,' a platform where I bring people to the stage to share their powerful journeys with a live audience. By giving survivors a voice and a stage, we are documenting history and inspiring the next generation through our Roku Channel network." of Indigenous communities.
