Synopsis

"Oh, You Cowgirl!" is a documentary film about the early 20th century cowgirls - The unsung heroes of the west! It is a true, honest to goodness cowgirl story and tells the true story of the legend and mystery of Prairie Rose Henderson.
The film focuses upon the spirit and heart of the wild west show and rodeo cowgirls - they were champions, some coming from ranches in the west, while others were entertainers from the east. The impact these women had in history and their contribution to our western heritage has been overlooked for nearly one hundred years.
