UnReined

UnReined

An Israeli equestrian champion confronts prejudice to start the first Palestinian Equestrian team.

Overview

Synopsis

Nancy Zeitlin is fearless when adapting to a new country, breaking stereotypes and leaping over societal barriers. Born in San Diego, she moves to Israel as a child. As she rises to become an Olympic-level equestrian, she must navigate through wars and a divided religious and secular Israeli society outside and inside her own family. Her anchor of stability in an unstable world? Horses. With them she does the unthinkable and becomes a trainer of Palestinians in Jericho. UnReined is a moving tale of how one woman confronts taboos and boundaries.
