Bio

Molly Condit is an American documentary filmmaker, photographer, and animal photojournalist based in Arizona.

Her work explores the relationships between humans and animals, with a focus on the systems, ethics, and individuals that shape their lives. Working across documentary film, commercial photography, and editorial storytelling, she creates both long-form observational films and visual campaigns for nonprofits, agencies, and mission-driven organizations.

Over the past decade, Molly has documented stories across the United States and internationally, collaborating with rescue organizations, sanctuaries, and advocacy groups on assignments ranging from factory farms to disaster and conflict zones. Her commercial work spans advertising campaigns, production stills, behind-the-scenes storytelling, and branded documentary content.

She is currently directing and producing The ARK, an observational documentary following animal hoarding investigations in southern Arizona, while also developing a documentary short exploring the return of wolves to Northern California.

When she's not behind a camera, Molly can usually be found on a motorcycle, on a trail, or at home with rescue cats who continue to remind her who's really in charge.
