Bio
Elyse Neiman Seiter is an Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, TV producer and director with more than 20 years of experience creating intimate, character-driven stories for television, including projects for MTV, TLC, HGTV, Food Network, and Travel Channel.
Her work in documentary filmmaking is informed by her own experience as a cancer survivor and her training in contemplative care and end-of-life support. She has volunteered with hospice organizations, completed the Foundations in Contemplative Care program at the New York Zen Center, and trained as an end-of-life doula with INELDA. These experiences have deepened her interest in how we navigate the end of life, connect with one another authentically, and find meaning in the time we have.
"Riding Home" is her first feature documentary as director.
