Inhered by the perpetual inspiration of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee, the State Government, with the economic aid from World Bank, has undertaken an exemplary project on accelerated development of minor irrigation ADMI, aiming at the poverty alleviation of the small and marginal farmers. To ensure the participation of the main beneficiaries in planning, implementation and management, initiative has been taken to form an association of all water user men and women in each area.
