Synopsis

After a very difficult journey marked by struggles, Maya the drag queen - the drag persona of Alex Matthew - is at a good place in her career. Fame, recognition and a colourful love life follow soon and she is finally the diva she has always dreamt of becoming. With the desire to grow her tribe and be the matriarch she has always aspired to be, Maya takes aspiring drag queens under her wings and establishes Haus of Maya. To her its a circle of trust, affection, friendship, warmth and love. She nurtures it like any mother would, and is stern and sometimes even harsh to make sure her drag daughters deliver the best. But after a brief period of bliss, things start falling apart. Maya has a fallout with her beloved drag daughter over drag aesthetics and Maya's credibility as a drag queen is questioned. Maya - Alex’s drag persona - turns to love for solace and comfort, but lovers want to bed Maya the drag queen, and not Alex a regular gay man.
