- Human Rights, Social Issues, and History
A radio station that took advantage of the strange rules of Apartheid, setup in a "homeland" and broadcast uncensored news and music to the citizens of South Africa, thereby opening their eyes to how their government had been carefully constructing their reality.
This new found information caused people to start resisting the oppression and eventually Apartheid was ended some 15 years later.
This story also shows how a Nationalist government can go terribly wrong.
