Synopsis

Everyone But Two is a portrait of filmmaker Carla Joelle Brown’s quest to unearth what it means to be African American traveling in America from 1965 to the present. Using personal interviews, her grandfather’s travel logs, home movies and her travels in grand landscapes, Brown illuminates how her grandparents forged their own path on the open road that for many African Americans had been closed.
