- Synopsis
When three veteran families struggling with PTSD and secondary trauma lose all hope, service dogs help them heal and imagine the possible.
DOG WALK HOME introduces three veteran families in the intimacy of their homes, where service dogs are considered family members. We see how service dogs are woven tightly into the fabric of everyday life. Themes have begun to emerge as to why these veterans suffer from PTSD, how secondary trauma impacts family members, and how their service dogs help them heal. An original score will be composed by Emmy-winning composer Patricia Lee Stotter for our finished film. (Currently in production.)
