Sabine Sighicelli Pro

Sabine Sighicelli is a Producer/Director/Writer who has worked in the documentary field, both independent and commercial (National Geographic Television) for the past 10 years. Her award-winning documentary 'The Passionate Life of a Father Painter' aired on PBS/KCET in 2001. A graduate from the photography and film programs of the Massachusetts College of Art and LMU’s school of Film and Television, Sabine has continued to produce short and feature projects while teaching all aspects of Documentary writing, production and post-production at the Brooks Institute of Photography (2002-present). Sabine is currently directing/writing and co-producing a feature documentary entitled 'Breaking in Two' -- fiscally sponsored by Women Make Movies -- on the implications of combining motherhood and art, through the stories, lives and artwork of established California artists who have raised/are raising children between the 60s and today.
