Bio

I'm a classically trained actor and award-winning director with over two decades of experience in television, Broadway, and film. I hold an MFA in Writing from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and began my professional journey as a Meisner-trained actor in New York City, working steadily for 22 years across network television and Tony Award-winning productions.

As a filmmaker, I bring a deep respect for story, character, and performance. My short dramatic film Un{H}armed was accepted to 11 film festivals across the country, including the Harlem International, Big Muddy, Hudson Shorts, Atlanta Shorts Fest, and New York Shorts festivals. I recently directed Sharaoke, a feature-length musical comedy that was successfully shot in just two weeks on location in Manhattan. I’ve also spent five years collaborating with the creative team behind South Park and the Broadway smash The Book of Mormon, which sharpened my storytelling instincts in both comedy and drama.

My directing superpowers include:

Actor-centered storytelling: I love good actors, and they feel it. I know how to talk to them, challenge them, and protect their best work.

Moment-to-moment precision: I craft scenes with nuance and truth, never missing the details that elevate a performance or beat.

Collaborative leadership: I work consistently with a trusted crew that includes a DP, 1st AD, editor, and script supervisor. We move fast, listen deeply, and execute cleanly.

I’m available to direct narrative shorts, features, or limited series, and can work as a local in New York City and various cities in North Carolina. Whether you’re looking to develop a grounded human story or something wildly imaginative, I bring taste, trust, and a fierce love for the craft.

Let’s make something excellent.
