Terence Donnellan is a producer, director, writer, and editor for film and television.

Documentaries:

SHELTER IN THE CITY is a documentary about homelessness that focuses on a father’s heartbreaking struggle to get his mentally ill son off the streets of New York City.

SHELTER IN THE CITY was nominated for an Emmy award.

REFUGEES: ENEMIES OR VICTIMS? The Syrian Civil War has created one of the greatest humanitarian crises in the last 60 years. REFUGEES: ENEMIES OR VICTIMS? investigates the very important question of whether the United States is doing enough to uphold its long tradition of helping those in need.

REFUGEES: ENEMIES OR VICTIMS? was nominated for an Emmy award.

ARTISTS IN NYC is a documentary film about visual artists living and working in New York City. The artists are in museum collections, have been in prestigious art fairs and biennials, and have exhibited in at least 30 countries.

ARTISTS IN NYC was selected for national distribution through NETA for PBS and public television stations starting in 2023.

Television:

I was responsible for the production and delivery of entire television seasons for five separate shows. Roles included producer, director, writer, shooter, and editor.

My work has been shown at film festivals, on television, and through Amazon Prime, iTunes, YouTube, Vimeo, Vudu, Tubi, Plex, and other international streaming platforms.


I am currently teaching editing (Avid, Premiere) at the New York Film Academy.
