Bio

Tatiana García was born in Mexico City. Has a B.A in Visual Communication from The Intercontinental University in Mexico (UIC). She also achieved a Diploma in Film and gender studies at the renowned Training Center of Cinema Studies (CCC) in Mexico City. Completed a Professional Certificate in Film Producing at New York University (NYU) and obtained an M.F.A in Media Production/Film Production from City College of New York (CCNY). Early in her career, she worked as a freelance associate producer at MTV (Latin America) for six years. She shortly moved into films, working in some independent films in Mexico City. In 2007 she moved to New York, her second home, to perfect her interest and passion in media producing. Proudly she has produced Documentaries, Features, TV, Music Videos, Doc Series and Digital Content. She worked at Tribeca Film Festival as a pre-screener. After that, she was the Associate Director of Cinema Tropical, the leading promoter of Latin American Films in the U.S.; later, she worked as the Coordinator of the Producing Program at New York Film Academy. Tatiana is now an experienced producer with more than 20 years dedicated to bringing life to many projects with notable worldwide directors and creators. Companies such as Jingletown, NGL, PBS, BNS, NBC, Sesame Workshop, Netflix, Bambú Audiovisual, among others. She transits between Mexico City and the U.S., building creative production bridges for local and international productions. Also, she Moonlights as a Radio Host for Convoy Network on the Podcast Negritud, dedicated to the history and pride of Afro Descendants worldwide through music.
