I run Stockfilm, an archive of 8mm and Super 8 home movies shot between 1933 and
1985 — roughly 160,000 clips scanned in 4K from original family reels. Domestic
life rather than newsreel events: kitchens, back gardens, road trips, birthday
parties, the school run. Stockfilm footage opens Netflix's One Day at a Time
(2017). I also run footage.cool, which covers the contemporary 4K end.
