Sonja Henrici Pro

Sonja is a writer / producer with over twenty years of experience in the Film and TV industry. She has produced and exec-produced multiple award-winning feature documentaries, most recently BIRDS OF WAR (Sundance Special Jury Award for Journalistic Impact, 2026), DOUGLAS GORDON BY DOUGLAS GORDON (Berlinale 2026); MERKEL (Telluride 2022, Netflix), Time Trial (SXSW, IDFA). She was Co-Director/Exec Producer of Scottish Documentary Institute from 2013 until 2020. Her films have screened on all continents, in top festivals, cinema, TV, VOD, DVD, in over 60 countries.

In 2021 she founded Sonja Henrici Creates Ltd for her creative and production work.

Sonja is a member of AMPAS, BAFTA.
