Bio
Sergio M. Rapu is the Development Producer/Writer at Committee Films. His relationship with Committee began several years ago as an Associate Producer for the NOVA / National Geographic special, Mystery of Easter Island.
Sergio has since worked on numerous Committee Films projects including H2's top-rated show, America Unearthed. He holds a degree in television production from Loyola Marymount University, has received training with the CPB/PBS Producers Academy and NBPC New Media Institute, and is an active member of IFP and the Independent Documentary Association.
Born and raised on Easter Island - a son of anthropologist parents - Sergio has an inherent love of exploring new ideas about our past and expanding on our understanding of race and human culture. His true passions lie in pushing the boundaries of storytelling for a new generation of viewers.
