Skye Borgman (Director/ Producer/ DP) is an award winning Director/Cinematographer who shoots narrative and documentary films all over the world. She received a BFA in Theater from Cornish College of the Arts and an MFA from USC's Film Production program. Skye’s love of adventure, respect for humanity and story telling makes her an indispensable creative partner in the making of any film. Skye has shot over 50 films and documentaries, traveled to over 60 countries and lived on three continents. Her global experiences guide her vision, thought and approach to her work. She received the “Accolade Award of Excellence” and “Best Documentary” for Junk Dreams, a feature documentary that she shot and directed which has world-wide distribution. “Mumia: Long Distance Revolutionary” – a politically charged feature documentary that Skye contributed additional cinematography to, made the qualifications list for the 2013 Academy awards. Two other feature documentaries that Skye was cinematographer on, “The Quiet Riot Movie” – A Big Hair Rock N’ Roll ride, and “Nothing Like Chocolate” a poetic film about ethically produced chocolate, are currently on the festival circuit.
