Shira Pinson

Shira Pinson was born and bred in Jerusalem, Israel. She arrived at London some ten years ago and trained at the London Film School where she later worked as an editing instructor. In 2005 Shira made her debut full-length documentary “Flowers Don’t Grow Here” a film about a gang of young people leaving on the streets of Kyiv, Ukraine, To date, the film was acquired by eight channels across Europe and had a good Festival run picking a couple of awards. She's been involved in numerous other productions taking different roles. Shira moved to the freelance market in 2006 and started Kapish Production in 2008 has worked as a director camerawoman and editor.
