Sarah began working as a freelance writer at the age of 17, when she first published a work of fiction. Since then, she has written for various publications on a wide range of topics. At Belhaven College, she pursued a BA in dance, with a minor in creative writing. Her writing career was furthered during her time as editor of the brogue, the campus literary journal. Upon graduation, she wrote for several local and national publications, and has had work appear in the Memphis Flyer, Southern Bride, Romantic Destinations, Dance Magazine, Edible Memphis, and more. In 2008, she began pursuing an MA in journalism from the University of Memphis. She plans to graduate in May 2010.
