Bio
Samuel is a trained journalist and filmmaker based in Kenya, well experienced in documentary storytelling, both photography and film. He began his career as a grip on set, to an editor and then a camera person, all which contributed to him becoming an all-rounded storyteller and film director. He is passionate about telling stories that are impactful and helpful to humanity, stories that have something to say. He has received several recognitions for his work and created for brands such as Bloomberg, Cognizant, Capital FM Kenya, Docubox, Storyhunter, just to mention a few. Sam, with other talented African creatives, currently runs Life Spark Studios, a forward-looking and solution-oriented documentary production house based in Kenya.
