I am a founder of Florentine Films, has been making award winning documentaries for decades. He’s a producer, director, cinematographer, and author. His films have won an Emmy Award, a Peabody Award and two Academy Award nominations. Charlie Rose called his PBS American Masters special, "Alexander Calder," “an extraordinary American masterpiece.” The Wall Street Journal said "Richard Rodgers: The Sweetest Sounds," another American Masters special, was “Perhaps the best film ever produced in the American Masters PBS series.” Kat Kinsman, writing for CNN’s Eatocracy, said of "The Restaurateur," a portrait of Danny Meyer, "Beg, borrow as needed, but do yourself a favor and see Roger Sherman's doc." About his film "Medal of Honor" The New York Post said, “There won’t be anything more worth your while on TV.” His book "Ready, Steady, Shoot: The Guide to Great Home Video" (Andrews McMeel 2012) was written to help millions of people shoot better videos of their families, vacations or nights out with friends – on SmartPhones or any type of camera.
