Bio
Pilar is a freelance documentary and commercial editor from Spain based in New York City since 2010. She has worked on short and feature length documentaries, commercials and docs-style branded content for production companies, post-houses and agencies such as DirecTV, FluidNY, Vice, Transient Pictures, Pleasant Post, Ntropic, After All, Jackson Films, Hero Edit or Stack. She has edited two feature documentaries by award winning directores Lisa F. Jackson and Sarah Teale: "Grazers: A Cooperative Story," which premiere at Doc NYC 2014 and most recently "Patrimonio," which premiere at 2018 Berlinale and Full Frame. In 2016 she edited Eddie Rosenstein's “The Freedom to Marry,” winner of the Best Editing and Best Documentary Film awards at Savannah Film Festival. Outside the edit room Pilar has worked as director, producer and cameraperson in several films in Spain and America such as "Más que a mi suerte", “Welcome to the Word", “Green Card" or "Playing Goodbye."
