Bio
Nick Jenkins is an enthusiastic and collaborative documentary filmmaker. Filmmaking was always a passion, but never a profession - until that changed in late 2017. He and his producing partners founded One City Films, a media company company in Chicago, to produce compelling documentary films as well as engaging commercial videos for corporations and brands.
He is currently producing two independent feature-length documentary films, My City and Throw a Billion, that address complex social and economic issues impacting America's largest communities today. He is also in post-production on a documentary short about a small, Latin American immigrant-owned company that risked everything to make a political stand during the 2016 U.S. presidential race.
Originally from Massachusetts, he currently lives in Chicago with his wife. He enjoys baseball, camping, and winemaking in his spare time.
