Bio

Nada Riyadh is a Cairo-based filmmaker. Her debut documentary HAPPILY EVER AFTER premiered at IDFA in 2016. She is a winner of Berlinale’s Film Prize of Robert Bosch 2017 for her short film THE TRAP
which premiered at Semaine de la Critique – Cannes 2019. She also leads filmmaking workshops to empower distressed communities in Lebanon, Jordan, and Egypt. Her work focuses on exploring the depth and complexity of the human psyche and relationships.
