Bio
Mario is an award winning producer, director, and Film Independent Project Involve Fellow who was personally mentored by Director Miguel Arteta (Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day; Youth in Revolt; The Good Girl). Mario was awarded the Barbara Boyle Scholarship and subsequently earned a degree in Producing from The Los Angeles Film School in 2000. Shortly after graduation, Mario founded Novoa Entertainment, a production company specializing in industrial and event videos. In 2013, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Internet Marketing from Full Sail University. In addition to LA: A Queer History, Mario produced TRONA, Ay Jose!, a PSA for GLAAD, The Miracle of Tony Davis, and directed/edited the LA Film School Alumni Interviews, The Baby Cries and Art Jackson - Album Promo.
Producer, Mario J. Novoa founded his company Film Bliss Studios in 2013, a film and marketing company producing meaningful and inspirational LGBT films.
