Claudia Unger producer - dir. of photography Born in Germany, Claudia Unger majored in photography at Art Center College of Design in Southern California. Her fine art photography work was recognized by internationally prestigious Lucie Awards for outstanding achievements in photography. In New York, at Lincoln Center, she received “Honorable Mention” Awards for two consecutive years. In 2006, she was the recipient of the Women in Photography Award. As a commercial photographer, she has photographed campaigns for Baby Gap, Guess?, Banana Republic, Dr. Pepper. In 2000, produced and camera operated Rembetika, music video for acclaimed recording artist, Lisa Gerrard . She co founded Minx Films with partner Francesca Di Amico, a boutique production company that produces film, photography and new media works. In addition to the projects on the company slate, Claudia is attached to produce and shoot 2 feature films; The Stamp Collector to be filmed in India, and Confession of a Cult Queen, documentary on American cult screen legend Mary Woronov about MinxFilms Company Overview We are an artistically driven boutique production / new media company based one mile from Paramount Pictures, in production on an Independent feature documentary about a Warhol / Corman actor whose carved out a compelling career of fringe roles and has earned the title of Cult Icon. Shot in New York and LA, the film has appearances from notable figures and celebrities from the film, art and music worlds. Our work to date has garnered 24 awards for filmmaking and photography, been distributed for television broadcast and has screened at prestigious festivals on every continent and local venues including Los Angeles County Museum, etc...
