Bio
I am a film editor/director and a doctoral researcher in documentary film practice at the Edinburgh College of Art, University of Edinburgh. In 2020, after six years as a senior video editor at Globo TV in Brazil, I graduated with an MA in film editing from Kino Eyes Erasmus Movie Masters from Edinburgh Napier University. I contributed as an editor to TV Shows, advertisements, movie trailers and short films, including the drama Three Graces (2020) screened at Tiradentes Film Festival and São Paulo International Short Film Festival. I have also worked as a multimedia journalist specialising in social issues and directed the short documentary Newcomers (2013), which premiered at Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival. In 2022, I participated the talent development programme at Berlin International Film Festival - Berlinale Talents.
Currently, I'm conducting practice-based PhD research in creative documentary filmmaking, developing my first feature and nurturing a newfound interest in film curation and programming.
I am a local of Edinburgh, Lisbon, and Rio de Janeiro.
