Marcelo Bukin is an international award-winning storyteller, filmmaker, and storytelling coach. His work has been widely recognized for its humanity, visual immersion, and emotional truth, earning praise and awards at more than 200 international film festivals. Filmmaking legend Albert Maysles called Bukin’s work “much more worthwhile than what the mass media produces.”

In tandem with directing commercials, cinematic documentaries, and narrative films, Marcelo leads masterclasses and provides storytelling coaching, helping individuals and organizations harness the power of narrative to grow their careers, businesses and brands. His approach blends purpose-driven storytelling with artistic innovation and personal growth, inspiring others to tell stories that resonate deeply and authentically.

Marcelo collaborates with global brands such as Sony, P&G, Citibank, Intel, Hellmann’s, Dannon, Olympus, and Knorr, while also partnering with international foundations to create humanitarian projects. Under his keen cinematic style, Bukin explores his fascination for the human condition, giving life to inspiring, entertaining, and thought-provoking visual experiences.

Marcelo is the recipient of the IDA Award, Gold Award FIPA France, New York State Council on the Arts Grant, FIDH Award, and selection at Docuweeks for Academy Awards Consideration, among many others. Fully bicultural and bilingual in Spanish and English, he works globally and resides between Miami and New York City.
