Bio

Matt is a documentary cinematographer and director. As a cinematographer, he shot feature documentaries including: Roll Red Roll, Do I Sound Gay, To Be Takei and American Cheerleader.  He has directed and shot original non-fiction content for Sesame Street, New York City Ballet, Madison Square Garden, MTV, Rehabilitation Through the Arts and East Coast Artists; and shot docu-commercial campaigns for ESPN, SAP and Humana. Matt founded Fly's Eye Films in 2010 which has produced award-winning documentaries shown internationally at film festivals including DOC NYC, HotDocs, Big Sky and The Hamptons International Film Festival.  Matt is an adjunct professor at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
