Bio

Martina de Alba is a video editor and producer based in Los Angeles. Though originally from Palma de Mallorca, Spain, Martina spent nine years in Barcelona where she pursued her BFA in graphic design and developed her love for video art.

She worked as a video editor for VICE Media from 2010 to 2016. She also hosted VICE Does America, a political exploration docu-series on the VICELAND TV Network. After that she worked three years editing documentaries at The Front, a female based media company in Brooklyn.

She’s also worked on short documentaries for The New York Times, National Geographic, CBS, Spotify, Alldayeveryday, Droga5, Refinery 29 among others. Now she finds herself producing, directing and video editing at BESE, a media company founded by the actress Zoe Saldana.


Documentary work includes assisting editing of the feature length, Reincarnated, Stop the Virgens, Faustino's Patagonian Retreat and editing of the Webby award nominated short documentary The making of loop>>60 hz: Transmissions from the Drone Orchestra premiered on The Creators Project in 2015.
