Marsha Gordon is Professor of Film Studies at North Carolina State University and the author, most recently, of Film is Like a Battleground: Sam Fuller’s War Movies (Oxford University Press, 2017) and Screening Race in American Nontheatrical Film (forthcoming with Duke University Press, 2019). She is also a documentary filmmaker: co-director of the short docs Rendered Small (2017) and the forthcoming, All the Possibilities…Vernon Pratt.
