Lisa D. Olken is a veteran filmmaker and Executive Producer/Director at Rocky Mountain PBS. She is dedicated to preserving and presenting the stateâ€™s ethnically diverse stories to local and national audiences. Her award-winning programs and documentaries focus on the Arts, Cultural Heritage and Western issues. Olken produces the weekly art series, â€˜Arts Districtâ€™ at www.rmpbs.org/artsdistrict. Her most recent film, Urban Rez, about the legacy of American Indian Relocation policies, was her 27th Regional Heartland Emmy Award. Among her more than 55 prestigious honors are: the Ministry of Agriculture Prize at the International Ekotopfilm Festival in Bratislava, 11 Colorado Broadcasters Association awards, 3 National CINE Golden Eagles, and 2 Western Heritage Wranglers.
