I'm an experienced media maker with over a decade of experience in writing, producing, production, and post-production. I have produced in six countries, and co-founded two boutique production companies-- Sameblood Production and Accuracy Productions. My freelance work includes Discovery Channel, TLC, Freethink Media, One District Media, and more. I have a special interest in social justice issues and documentary ethics, and I teach film workshops for displaced youth ages 6-19 in the US and internationally. I have an MA in Arab Studies from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service, with a Certificate in Refugees and Humanitarian Emergencies from the Institute for the Study of International Migration, and my language skills include English, Spanish, and Arabic.
