Jane V Hardy Pro

My name is Jane Hardy and I am a recent graduate of the News and Documentary Masters program at NYU. Born in Italy of an Italian mother and an American father I have been bi-lingual and bi-cultural ever since I can remember. I am fascinated by anything international, have traveled extensively, and have lived in four different countries in my 25 years. I would like to concentrate my reporting and documentary pieces on international news, specifically in developing countries in order to create global awareness. I hope that my knowledge of four languages, and my international background can be of help to me in my journalistic aspirations. Just recently I produced, directed, shot and edited a documentary film entitled 'Of Milk and Money'. In it I compare the widely different subsidy systems for organic dairy farmers in the U.S. and the EU.
