Jordan Allott is the Executive Producer for In Altum Productions, a Washington D.C based film and video production company. Through In Altum Productions, Jordan has produced and distributed a number of documentary projects focused on themes ranging from Catholic spirituality, mountain climbing, spiritual ecumenism and North American and Cuban politics. In Altum Productions has recently finished work on a number of projects, including a video documenting an ecumenical pilgrimage across Europe, a film project entitled Women of Mystery, Women of Hope that highlights the beauty and mystery of the religious vocation for women and a documentary exploring the situation of the Catholic Church in Cuba. In 2010 Jordan and In Altum Productions released Oscar’s Cuba, a 60-minute documentary about imprisoned Cuban human rights advocate Dr. Oscar Elias Biscet. The acclaimed documentary has been screened across Europe, the United States and South America.
Jordan’s work has been seen globally on the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), CNN International, Telemundo and Univision and has been featured by media outlets globally. Additionally, Jordan’s work has screened at several film festivals across the United States, including the Washington, D.C. Independent Film Festival. Jordan was born in Reading, England and received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Political Science, Philosophy and Film. Jordan is a 2011 National Review Institute Washington D.C. Fellow.
