Bio
Jacqueline Romano is a filmmaker and video content producer, with a speciality in short documentaries. Her work centers around deepening human understanding, and inspiring impact and connection through authentic, compelling stories of those who lead with courage and heart. A Parsons School of Design graduate, Jacqueline’s work as a video content producer and documentary filmmaker has played a pivotal role in helping her clients secure partnerships with influential figures like Oprah and Viola Davis, as well as renowned organizations like Whirlpool and Columbia Bank. Additionally, her clients have experienced significant growth implementing her designed organic impact strategies with revenue doubling within just six months of distribution. She attributes these outcomes to her meticulous storytelling approach and aligned distribution strategies that inspire heart-centered connections and thought provoking impact.
Prior to founding her certified LGBTQ+ production company, Romo Pro LLC, in 2019, she spent four years building and running an independent online magazine, Blindfoldmag.com, where she produced a successful mini-doc series consisting of twelve episodes. Her mini-doc videos reached over 206,000 viewers, and were instrumental in raising more than $65,000 in donations for small, international organizations. In her over a decade of creating in multimedia formats, she has also contributed as cinematographer, writer and editor on award-winning short documentaries, narrative, and dance films. These awards include, but are not limited to, an official selection for Miami Film Festival, and the Artspace Dejunius Hughs Award for Activism honoree grant.
