Bio
I am a writer, producer, and content developer with a passion for long- and short-form nonfiction storytelling. In 2020 and 2021 I produced and wrote Academy of Hope: Taking On America’s Adult Education Problem, a half-hour documentary exploring the challenges facing adult learners in America by following two students at a Washington, DC adult public charter school. In 2021 and 2022 I served as Senior Content Developer and Producer on Solving for Zero, a feature-length documentary hosted by Bill Gates and introducing five innovators around the globe who are racing to address climate change with technological solutions. The film won a 2022 Association of International Broadcasting Award and a 2023 Communicator Award of Excellence. Also in 2022, I served as Senior Writer/Producer on America’s Great Trails, a six-part documentary mini-series exploring great American long distance hiking trails and featuring outdoor enthusiast and documentary filmmaker Mick Davie. The series garnered a 2023 Webby Award. All three productions can be viewed on the Wondrium streaming platform.
