It was during this time that his reputation as a talented multi-instrumentalist and writer landed him the job of bass player, guitarist and singer in the Robbie Williams band. The next five years saw him writing, recording and touring with Williams, his tenure spanning several albums (all reaching multi platinum status world-wide), movie soundtracks (including Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, A Knight’s Tale and others) and world tours which rolled through stadiums and arenas around the world until his departure from the band in 2001 after signing his own artist deal at EMI Music. That year iZLER moved to New York City where he quickly became immersed in all aspects of the booming Lower East Side art scene, through bands, filmmakers and visual artists. In 2003 iZLER relocated once again, this time to Los Angeles. The following year he recorded and released his first solo album, which brought him to the attention of the film community and once again he found himself providing music for movies and TV. The next few years would see him contributing songs and score to ER, Thief, Into the Air, Hooked, Studio 60, The Simpsons, Holy Wars, Redline and several commercials among others. In the Summer of ’08 iZLER was invited by the Sundance Institute to be one of six composers to participate in the Sundance Composers Lab in Utah, a three week movie scoring marathon, coached by the likes of Carter Burwell, George S Clinton, Tyler Bates, Christopher Young, Alex Wurman and Peter Golub. He has recently completed the score for the film Humboldt County starring Peter Bogdanovitch, Fairuza Balk and Chris Messina, has frequently collaborated with composer and cellist Martin Tillman (who’s performances can be heard Black Hawk Down, The Kite Runner, Spanglish and The Dark Knight amongst many others), and providing additional music for Oscar nominated composer Marco Beltrami on the film Reposession Mambo. He is currently scoring the Sundance backed documentary Whatever It Takes.
