Ilana Trachtman

Ilana Trachtman is an Emmy award-winning documentary director and producer with over twenty years of credits on PBS, HBO Family, ABC-TV, Showtime, Sundance, Lifetime, Discovery, A&E, and Sesame Workshop. For PBS, she directed Mariachi High, Black in Latin America (hosted by Henry Louis Gates,) Texas Ranch House, and was supervising producer on History Detectives. Trachtman’s feature documentary Praying with Lior was released theatrically in over 60 cities in the US and abroad. The film was a critic’s pick of the The New York Times, The Washington Post, and Philadelphia Inquirer.
