Bio

Ira R. Abrams is a Member of the Producer's Guild of America, Ph.D. Harvard University, was Series Producer/Writer of the PBS Series, Faces of Culture (Emmy), the feature-length documentary The Three Worlds of Bali (Cine Award), First Time Africa: Ethiopia, for the Africa Channel, was Writer/Producer of the PBS weekly series Chicago Tomorrow, and is currently a Producer of Rodney King: Surviving America, in collaboration with Rosebud Productions and Revelations Entertainment (in post-production). Abrams was founder of USC's Center for Visual Anthropology, is a Board Member of The CineStory Foundation (for new and emerging Screenwriters), and has been the head of three major University Media Production programs.
