Ginny Galloway founded Greenbox Films because of her desire to create unique, meaningful, and compelling content that entertains and inspires. Ginny Is currently producing the dramatic feature, PONIES, a controversial drama about friendships, treachery, and the American dream set in the gritty world of off-track betting in New York City. Earlier in 2009, Ginny had her directorial debut with her award-winning feature documentary, THE MUSIC LESSON, which has been an official selection at film festivals including Santa Barbara, Reel 2 Real, Newport Beach, Egypt, Lake Havasu, Women’s International, East Lansing, and Indie Spirit. Accolades include the Edith Lando Peace Prize, the Lake Havasu Final Cut Award, the Newport Beach Audience Award, the Indie Award of Excellence, and Best North American Documentary Feature at the Women’s International Film Festival. Prior to founding Greenbox, Ginny worked for several major studios in the production of feature films and television, including SYRIANA, RENDITION, BANDITS, LIBERTY HEIGHTS, SOMETHING THE LORD MADE, and the hit HBO series THE WIRE.
