Eric is a NY based documentary filmmaker. He has played an active role in many areas of documentary programming, from development, through production, post, distribution and outreach. Projects have ranged from large-scale documentaries with national television premieres and successful theatrical runs, to multi-part prime-time documentary TV series, to smaller films that went on the festival circuit and built an audience through DVD sales and online marketing. Notable credits include: Associate Producer – YOUNG & RESTLESS IN CHINA (PBS Frontline, 2008); Archival Producer - TEENAGE PAPARAZZO (HBO, 2011); Coordinating Producer – RISK TAKERS (BloombergTV, 2011) and MAKERS: WOMEN WHO MAKE AMERICA (PBS/AOL, 2012); Co-Producer – PATROLMAN P (DIRECTV, 2012); Line Producer – MY ITALIAN SECRET (NETFLIX, 2014) about the untold saga of Italians who rescued Jews and other refugees fleeing the Nazis in World War II; Coordinating Producer - VICE on HBO (2015-2016); Co-Producer - SHADOWMAN (Amazon, 2017) about the chaotic life of legendary NY street artist Richard Hambleton; Producer - NEW HOMELAND (DOCNYC, 2018) about a group of recently arrived refugee boys who go to a summer camp in the Canadian wilderness; PRODUCER - DESERT ONE (TIFF, 2019) about President Carter's attempt to rescue the hostages in Iran which is opening in theaters August 2020. He is currently directing his first feature called DEAD TIME, about a man on Alabama's death row proclaiming innocence and the attorneys who've been fighting for decades to free him. He also produces for Barbara Kopple's production company Cabin Creek Films.
