FELICIA LOWE, is an award winning independent television producer, director, and writer with more than 35 years of production experience.  Lowe’s latest film, Chinese Couplets unfurls an epic tale spanning four generations of tenacious women, in three countries over two centuries in one family.  Lowe received an EMMY for Best Cultural Documentary for Chinatown: The Hidden Cities of San Francisco and Carved in Silence, her documentary about Angel Island Immigration Station has become a standard teaching tool in classrooms.  Her films have been broadcast on PBS including China: Land of My Father, a personal journey to China to meet her paternal grandmother in 1979.  A former broadcast journalist, Lowe has taught film at San Francisco State University and Stanford University and continues to be active in the preservation of the Immigration Station at Angel Island.
