I’m an entertainment attorney focused on business and legal affairs for independent film and television creators. As production legal counsel for indie producers of narrative and documentary films, I negotiate and draft option/purchase agreements, above- and below-the-line contracts for onscreen talent and production personnel, loanout agreements, releases, location agreements, license agreements, and contracts documenting many other business transactions and relationships. My practice also includes clearing copyrights and trademark rights in screenplays and literary fiction, setting up business organizations, and advising creative filmmakers on legal issues related to film finance, development, preproduction, production, and distribution.
