Michele Beck Pro

Michele Beck is a visual artist and filmmaker, creating projects that take the form of multi-channel video/sound installation and documentary. She is currently working on a first person documentary about a psychiatric hospital in Western Massachusetts.

Her work has been shown at venues including: The Porn Film Festival Berlin, Philadelphia Independent Film Festival, NYC Chain Film Festival, ICA in London, Galerie Chez Valentin, Bronx Museum, Queens Museum, PS122, Recontre Internationales and the Kassler Dokumentarfilm und Videofest. She is a recipient of grants from the Manhattan Community Arts Fund, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and the New York Foundation for the Arts as well as multiple residencies at Yaddo. She teaches at the New School.
