Chris John Brooke is a filmmaker and academic based in York, U.K. After several years in his early twenties freelancing as a camera operator Chris became involved in political activism resulting the feature documentary From York to Palestine (2006).
He followed up on his own documentary work with a second feature Spoke on the Water (2007).
In 2010 he established a production company specialising in documentary production services for high profile commercial and corporate clients, which now specialises in producing niche documentary based content for the video games sector.
His latest feature, Hiroshima: City of Water was released in 2021.
Chris is also a Senior Lecturer in Film Production and Post Production at The Northern Film School, U.K.
