Bio

Brady Lawrence is a Seattle-based director of photography and documentary filmmaker specializing in work about outdoor adventure, music, technology and the environment. His films and photos have been featured in outlets like Nat Geo Travel, TIME Magazine and The Bikepacking Journal. Projects for clients such as the Schmidt Ocean Institute, Zillow and Canyon Bicycles have taken him from the northernmost road in Alaska to the high plateaus of Kyrgyzstan and many places in between. Whether it’s working with mountain bikers in the backcountry or lighting the latest tech in the studio, Brady brings a deep focus on characters to his storytelling and a cinematic eye to his videography.

His first feature documentary, Into the Rift, tells the story of a grueling bike race in the remote Atlas Mountains of Morocco and was selected for 'Best Event Documentation' in the Bikepacking 2020 Awards. From adventure athletes and activists to start ups and songwriters, Brady loves captivating stories about compelling people and is always excited by the chance to collaborate with other passionate folks.
