Bio
Brett Hendrie is the Managing Director of Hot Docs, North America’s largest documentary festival and market event. Since joining the Toronto-based festival in 2001, Brett has helped to develop Hot Docs as a calendar event for over 85,000 public attendees and 1800 international documentary filmmakers and buyers. Brett holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema Studies from the University of Toronto, has previously worked for the Toronto International Film Festival, and sat on jury and selection committees for international film and documentary competitions.
