Betsy Carson Pro

Betsy is an award-winning producer/ EP/ director with over 30 years’ experience in documentary film, television, and digital projects.  She has collaborated for decades with filmmakers Nettie Wild, Gary Marcuse, Hugh Brody and Mark Achbar, and has produced over 100 hours of documentary projects ranging from series television to theatrical features, interactive websites and public art installation. Currently in production:  The Corporation II: an unfortunately necessary sequel to the groundbreaking 2003 feature documentary The Corporation; the Global Environmental Justice Project, directed and curated by Gary Marcuse; UNINTERRUPTED, a digitally mapped public art project; 500 Days in the Wild, a 6-year journey on The Great Trail. The films she has collaborated on have won numerous national and international awards and honours  including  multiple Genie and Gemini  awards,  American Film Institute, Berlin, Hot Docs, International Documentary Association,  Prism, Grantham  and other humanities and environmental awards.
